RUDAKOFF, Florence. It is with much sadness that we regretfully announce the passing of our mother, Florence Rudakoff (nee Dergel), on January 13, 2006 after a brief illness in her eighty-fifth year. Florence was predeceased by her parents Sam and Leah Dergel, her brothers Leonard and Hyman, and in July, 2002, by her loving husband, partner and best friend of fifty-three years, Nat Rudakoff. She leaves behind her daughter Dr. Judith Rudakoff and son-in-law Myles Warren of Toronto and son Alan Rudakoff and daughter-in-law Jorda Promislow of Calgary, as well as four loving grandchildren. Florence was a gifted, intelligent and creative woman who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help her beloved husband and children achieve their very best. She will always be remembered by her family and many friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Doris Stegg for her many years of exceptional, compassionate care. Those wishing to remember our mother with a memorial donation are encouraged to contact the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Sunday, January 15 at 2:45 p.m. Burial at the Montifiore Protective section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane. While Shiva will be private, there will be a celebration of Florence's life to be be held immediately following the burial with details to be announced. |
