CHERNOFSKY, Louis Peacefully after a lengthy illness, on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia. Most loved father and father-in-law of Howard Chernofsky, and Jeffrey and Ann Chernoff. Predeceased by his sisters Dinah (the late Moe) Goldberg, Sarah (late Issie) Herman, Ruth (the late Phil) Shaeffer, Rose (the late Harry) Selinsky, and his brothers Hymie (the late Molly), and George. Brother-in-law to Lorna (the late George) Chernoff, the late Ray (the late Sol) Gross, the late Beatrice (the late Moe) Ansel, and the late Leah (the late Syd) Weinstein. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 5, at 1 p.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Assoc-iation Cemetery, de la Savane.
