OSTROFF NOVAK, Helen (nee Levine) With profound sadness, we announce Helen's peaceful passing on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the age of ninety-seven. Wife of the late Carl Novak. Most beloved mother and mother-in-law of Eileen and David Goldsmith, Beverly and Murray Kellner. Cherished Grandma of Jodi Goldsmith Gelber and Stephen Gelber, Jamie Perzow, Jonathan Perzow and Jessica Frampton Perzow. Extremely proud great-grandmother of Evan and Brandon Gelber. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Goldie and the late Sender Wasserman, Helen and the late Solly Levine, the late Sidney Levine; and sister-in-law of Yetta and the late Milton Novak. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to her caregiver Merlee and to the staff at the King David Residence. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Montefiore Protective Cemetery (D-14), de la Savane.
