ADELMAN, William Peacefully, after a long illness, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Evelyn Freedman. Dear father and father-in-law of Sharon, Allan and Sabrina Adelman. Proud grandfather of Clifford and Sara (Miller) Adelman, Jillian and Mark Lebovits. Loving brother of Sam and Marcia Adelman, and the late Bess. Brother-in-law of Judy and Moe Birenbaum. Son of the late Max and the late Mary Adelman. Sadly missed and remembered by his loving nieces and nephews. Proud member of the Canadian Legion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, September 19 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily. Due to the advent of Rosh Hashanah, shiva ends Wednesday afternoon, September 24.
