SHLIEN, Esther (nee Kopper). A woman of great valor and courage. Passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2007, just before her ninety-fourth birthday. Beloved wife of Sam Shlien. Much loved and revered mother of Anne and Jack (Ricki). Cherished grandmother of Ariel (Isabelle) and Ron (Shari). Adored great-grandmother of Alexa, Ella, Aiden and William. She will be greatly missed by all those fortunate to have known her. Funeral services from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, May 31 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Worker's Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her home from 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
