WERNER, Hena (Annie) nee Melnik Peacefully and with dignity, in her eighty-eighth year, on Friday, September 13, 2013 (Yom Kippur). Beloved wife of the late Shimon. Devoted and loving mother and mother-in-law of Joe and Carol, Miriam and Michael. Treasured grandmother of Aviva and Colman, Stacey and Luke, and Benjamin. Proud great-grandmother of Simon. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Chaya and the late Rachmeal Shimron of Israel, Chaim and Roslyn Melnik, Harry and Reicha Melnik. Predeceased by her parents, Faiga and Gutman. Hena will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, September 17 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6785 Korczak Crescent #1401, Cote St. Luc. Due to the festival of Succot, shiva ends Wednesday afternoon. She has left us having achieved a full life, full of riches and honour. May her soul be bound in the bond of eternal life. |
