WERNER, Simon (Shimon). Peacefully with dignity, in his ninety-first year, on Monday, June 21, 2004. May his soul be bound in the bond of eternal life. Devoted and beloved husband of Hena (Annie) Melnik. Devoted and beloved father and father-in-law of Joe, Carol, Miriam and Michael. Treasured Zaidie-Pops of Stacey, Aviva and Benjamin. Predeceased by his parents and siblings in the Holocaust. Beloved brother-in-law of Chaya and the late Rachmeal Shimron of Israel, Chaim and Roslyn Melnik, Harry and Reicha Melnik. Beloved uncle and great uncle. Special thanks to Ruth Mardinger and the staff of 6 North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. He left us in a good old age full of days, riches and honour. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Thursday, June 24 at 1 p.m. Burial at 6785 Korczak Crescent #1401, C.S.L.
