METZENDORF, Ruth (nee Katz). On Friday, October 18, 2002. Beloved wife of Mayer Metzendorf. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Mary and Lou Orzech, Lori and Bill Rosenberger. Cherished Bubby of Jamie and Neil Orzech; and Ashley Rosenberger. Sister of the late Sophie Mangel, the late Moniek Katz, the late Joseph Katz, the late Cecelia Abusz. Dear sister-in-law of Joseph Abusz. Sadly mourned by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of the intensive care unit, Jewish General Hospital. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, October 20 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
