Obituary MAITLITZ, Mania (Mary) (nee Skomska) Proud survivor of the Holocaust. It is with profound sadness and grief that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Mania, on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Tovia Maitlitz, her soul mate in life, and the late Fajwel Rajczyk. Devoted mother of Mel, Philip and Pauline. Cherished Bubby of Rachel, Tara and Ryan. A very special friend of Maurice Kalman. Predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Feiga, and by her siblings, Mendel, Moishe and Baila, who all perished in the Holocaust. Mania will be respectfully remembered by the Rajczyk family, and deeply missed by her many dear friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 17 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter Pauline's home, 110 Aldred Place, Hampstead, after 1 p.m. daily. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Lodzer Society of Montreal, 514-933-7588.
