GONSHOR, Israel "Ultche". Peacefully, in his ninety-fourth year surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday June 19, 2002. Beloved husband of Chana Szlang for sixty-three years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Abe and Shirley (Bomer), Aron and Anna (Fishman), Sam and Judy (Posternak) of Toronto. Cherished Zeyde of Michael Simon, Joshua Solomon and Sarah Miriam Z"L, Benjamin Elliot, Yona Leah and Frayda Debora, Adam Freddy, Danny Jordan and Bram Jacob. Predeceased by his mother and five siblings who perished in the holocaust and by his father and brother who died in Israel. Dear uncle of Pessa Lifshitz and Yehudit Perelmutter of Israel. Lifelong member of the Jewish Labour Bund and the Arbeter Ring. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Thursday June 20 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Worker's Circle Cemetery, De La Savane. The family will be at home 599 Westluke Ave., C.S.L. through Tuesday evening.
