SCHNURBACH, Sam. With great dignity and courage surrounded by his family on Friday, July 21, 2000. Beloved husband and best friend of twenty-nine years of Shirley. Dearest son of the late Rose and the late Leon. Cherished son-in-law of Gittel and the late Label Akerflug. Loving father of Mitchell, Neil and Ricky. Devoted brother and brother-in-law of Henry and Barbara, Freda and Stan Solman, and Doris and Jack Eichler. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to Samantha. The family would like to acknowledge the doctors, nurses and staff of 9-East and 7 Medical at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional compassion and care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, July 23, at 12 noon. Burial at Montreal Worker's Circle Cemetery, de la Savane.
