ACKERMAN, Mary (nee Flomboim). On Saturday, January 19, 2008 in her ninety-fifth year. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Wife of the late Mayer Ackerman. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Alex and Frances Ackerman, Sophie and Remy Landau. Loving Bubby of Julie and Leigh, Michael, Ariel, Enoch and Daniel. Dear aunt to Sonia Ackerman. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the loving and caring staff and residents of Henri-Bradet nursing home, especially the devoted staff on the 4th floor for their kindness and compassion. Funeral services from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W on Sunday January 20 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la savane. Shiva will be held at 5526 Ashdale Av. Apt 216 on Sunday and Monday. Shiva continues in Toronto after Tuesday at 12 Romney Rd.
