GIPS, Annie (nee May) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Annie Gips on Friday, October 13, 2017, in her eighty-ninth year. Beloved wife of the late Teddy. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Howard and Reesa Gips, Brenda and Jack Cola, Stephen and Denise Gips. Proud Bubby of Carly and Amanda Gips, Kimberly and Robert Deckelbaum, Mandy and Jeremy Levi, Jeremy Cola and fiancee Melanie Josepovici, and Gabriella Gips. Special great-grandmother of Jacob, Teddy, Jonah, Jesse and Rockwell. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Michael, the late Issie and the late Ray, the late Jack and the late Celia, Pearl and the late Benny May, the late Joey, the late Louis and the late Celia, the late George, the late Dave, and the late Avrum; and sister-in-law of Henry and the late Sylvia, Louise and the late Harry, the late Abie and the late Molly. She was a kindhearted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Annie was a very loving, kind and gentle soul who lived her life to the fullest. Heartfelt thanks to her devoted caregivers, Elizabeth, Joy, Lina and others. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 15 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane.
