SCHIFMAN, Milka (nee Janklewicz) Wife of the late Kiwa, both Holocaust Survivors, on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 in her 96th year in Montreal. Beloved and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Hersh (Iren), and Arye Leib. Adored Bubbie of Debra (Harry) Zembowski, David (Eve) Herling, and Benjamin (Aubrey) Madeley. Proud and loving Great Bubbie of Ayden, and Jacob Zembowski; Noah, Maya, and Leah Schifman; Ellie, and Miles Schifman. Predeceased by her eight siblings, six of which perished in the Holocaust along with her dear parents Nuchem and Leah. She will be most deeply missed by her nephew Moishe and his family, her niece Ethel, her great-nieces, great-nephews, and by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Friday, April 22 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private. Due to the advent of Passover, shiva ends Friday afternoon.
