LAUBER, Tanya (nee Shenker) Peacefully, after a bout with pneumonia, on Monday, December 29, 2014, in her ninety-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Morris. Cherished daughter of the late Charles and the late Bertha Shenker. Loving and devoted mother of Bunny Berke (Larry Lusko) and Beverley Di Biasio (Giulio). Adored Grandmother Tanya of Charles Berke, and David Di Biasio. Predeceased by her brothers, Harry Shenker and John Shenker (the late Roslyn Dermer), and by her brothers-and sister-in-law, Saul Loeb of New York, Itzhak Lauber of Buenos Aires, and Rose Haftel of Tel Aviv. Best friend of Halina Spinak for fifty years. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Special thanks to Drs. Duaa Alahdal and Susan R. Kahn, nurses Chantale, Joanne and Mary Jane of the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care. Graveside Service on Wednesday, December 31 at 1:00 p.m., at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. Please respect the family's privacy.
