SHAPIRO, Doris (nee Pilzmacker) Peacefully, on Thursday, March 5, 2015 in her eighty-fifth year. Wife of the late Harry (Hershel). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Carla and Kenny Diamond. Cherished Bubbie of Jeremy Diamond and fiancee Jillian Tryansky, Michelle Diamond and fiance Arie Bohbot. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Lily and the late Issie Krull, Joyce Schneider Crandall and the late Harold Schneider. Doris will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and by Harry's children Howard and Aileen Shapiro, Susie and Sidney Nemes, Anne Shapiro London and the late Larry Shapiro, and by their children and grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of the Hemodialysis Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, March 6, at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at her daughter's home.
