OSTROVSKY-ASTROFF, Rae (Rachel) (nee Braker) Peacefully, after a courageous battle, on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving and adored mother and mother-in-law of Brian, Howard and Dorothy, Ronnie and Camille. Cherished Bubby of Esther, Harrison, Arielle and Mikayla. Devoted sister and sister-in-law of Ethel and the late Philip Nutik, Gertie and the late Sam Belfer. Dear companion of the late Harry Fox. Rae will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family, her dear friends, as well as those at the Cummings Jewish Centre for Seniors, and all who knew her. The family would like to thank Dr. Sarit Assouline and her staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, November 28 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva private.
