GARBARSKI, Leon It is with heavy hearts that we announce his passing on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Malka. Devoted father of Gloria. Cherished grandfather of the late Katie. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses. Leon will be sadly missed by the Zion family of Edmonton, Alberta; to know him was to love him for he brought happiness to all the lives he touched. Heartfelt thanks to Rosie and Bob Asch, and the staff of the Steger Residence for adding life to his years and years to his life. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, January 26 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Association Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at the Steger Residence from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Tuesday. |
