GIEWERCER, Helen (nee Feld). In her eighty-eighth year on Monday, February 13, 2006. Beloved wife of Izaak Mendel for 67 years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Harry and Roz of Toronto, Etti and Harvey Sands. Cherished Bubbie of David and Michael Giewercer; Noah and Jeremy Sands. Predeceased by her parents and siblings who perished in the Holocaust. Dear sister-in-law of Sarah Granat. Special thanks to Dr. Arnie Zylbergold, her devoted caregiver Mildred, Gloria, the doctors, nurses and staff of 7 west and 8 northwest, Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday February 14 at 2:30 p.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers Circle Cemetery, De La Savane.
