ZELL, Carole (nee Hoffman) On Saturday, July 6, 2013. Loving wife of the late Max Zell. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Janice and Mark Samberg of Chicago, Michael Zell and Heidi Lack of Boston, and Allison Eve Zell and Adam Yaffe of New York. Adoring grandmother of Sidney, and Hannah Samberg; Myles, and Arielle Lack-Zell; and Anya, and Saskia Zell-Yaffe. Sister-in-law of Mimi and the late David Zell. She will be greatly missed by her nephew and great nephews, and by her loving family and friends. Carole was a warm and generous person with a wonderful sense of romance and adventure. Special thanks to Maria Obel in Montreal and the staff at Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center in Glenview, Illinois for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, July 11 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Montreal Workers' Circle Association Cemetery, de la Savane.
