PLOTNICK, David After a brief and courageous battle, on Thursday, December 14, 2017, in his ninety-first year. Devoted father and father-in-law of Marla and Howard Oksenberg, Jerry Plotnick, Lisa and Andre Banon. Adored grandpa of Kelly, and Lindsay Oksenberg; Katherine, and Jennifer Banon. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Abe and Ruth Plotnick, Norman Plotnick and Orin Rosengren, Betty and the late Bernie Plotnick, the late Anne and the late Morris Rosenberg. Predeceased by his other siblings, Oscar Plotnick, Harry Plotnick, Fay Waxman, Minnie Clavier, and Esther Plotnick. David will be sadly missed by his selfless friend Ferial Karam, his many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Emergency and Coronary Care Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Anne-Marie, Lucy, Elizabeth, and Dimitri for their kind care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Friday, December 15 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Shomrim Laboker Congregation Cemetery, Tifereth Israel Section, de la Savane.
