KARPMAN, Arthur Mark. After a long and unbelievably courageous battle on April 9, 2006. Beloved husband of the late Rosalind. Lovingly survived by his children Shelby and Terry, Lori and Todd, and the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren, Matthew, Evan, Jesse and Julie. Predeceased by his brothers Sol and Edward. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him for the kind and generous gentleman that he was. Special thanks to the dialysis team at the Jewish General Hospital for their outstanding kindness and dedication, and to the ICU team for a level of care and compassion that knows no bounds and goes beyond the call of duty. We are forever grateful to you. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, April 10, at 1:15 p.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5580 Borden, Cote St. Luc due to the advent of Passover, Shiva will end Wednesday afternoon.
