WINSTAN, Rose (nee Herman) On Tuesday, August 12, 2014 in her ninety-seventh year. Wife of the late Irving (Ike). Most loved mother and mother-in-law of Arlene and Paul Scheffer, Jules and Sandy Winstan. Cherished Bubbie of Howard Scheffer, Jon and Jen Scheffer; Lucas and Stef Winstan, and Alex Winstan. Proud great-grandmother of Antonio Winstan. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Moe and Yolande Herman, Hy (Blackie) and Sophie Herman, Zena and the late Ben Herman, the late Bernice and the late Irving Spector and the late Marcel Blais; and sister-in-law of Ethel and the late Abe Silver, the late Sophie and the late Moe Winstan, the late Shoshana Winstan, and the late Lillian Winstan. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Fely and Mila and the 5th floor staff of the Kastner Pavilion at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. West on Thursday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva to be announced.
