LEBOVITS, Shulim (Sidney). After a courageous struggle on Sunday May 18, 2008. Beloved husband for sixty-one years of Edith Gluck. Devoted and loving father and father-in-law of Shirley and David Rosenfeld, Susie and Ronny Klein. Proud and cherished Zaida of Jennifer, Steven, Randall. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Bella and the late Jeno Adler, Sylvia and the late Leo Slomovits, the late Rochel and the late Tibi Lebovits, the late Mechel and the late Rasi Lebovits, the late Harry and the late Eva Strulovits, the late Yankel Lebovits. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and all of those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank Judith Marchesault R.N., Dr. Anna Towers, the caring staff at Mount Sinai Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Ellen Tissenbaum, Rabbi Herschel Schechter and the caring staff of Manoir Montefiore and to Dr. Harry Glick, Tara Jession R.N. at the Jewish General Hospital, Oncology Department, all for their extraordinary care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Monday May 19 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, De La Savane.
