ALBERT, Anne (nee Merovitz). Peacefully, in her ninety-fourth year, on Tuesday, June 3, 2008. Wife of the late Alexander Albert. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Edith and Mac McKinley, and predeceased by her other siblings, Ethel Miller, Lillian Blumberg, Gert Weinberg, Bertha Rohr, Ida Rosenburg and Mel Merovitz. Sister-in-law of Pearl Merovitz. Grandmother of Dr. Clifford Albert and Dr. Warren Albert. Great-grandmother of Meghan, Avery and Madison. She will be sadly missed by Antoinette Albert and by her many nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of Na'amat Canada and Hadassah-WIZO. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Maimonides Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, June 5 at 9:30 a.m. Burial at the Shevat Achim Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva in Connecticut.
