SHAMES, Ethel (nee Sirota). On Thursday, June 6, 2002, at the age of ninety-one years. Beloved wife of the late Max. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Shirley and Syd Pascal, Esther and David Kwavnick and Issie Shames (Judy Glass). Cherished Bubbie of Garry and Susan, Bruce, Heather and Billy, Beth and Jonathan, Jennifer, Andrea and Michelle. Proud great-grandmother of Kylie and Adam. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jayaraman for his kindness and consideration. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, June 7 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Jewish Assistance Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 5757 Lemieux #503.
