SHACHTER, Marvin Allan Peacefully, on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Mollie Briskin. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Gary and Marjorie, Janice and Ronald Lann, Howard Shachter. Cherished "Zay" of Ehle, Sophie, Hannah, Myles, and Cassie. Dear brother and brother in-law of Libby and the late Harry Loomer. Marvin will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. The family would like to thank his dear companion Michael Rozman for his loving and devoted care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, April 10 at 3:15 pm. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Due to the festival of Passover, Shiva will commence Saturday evening.
