DERZAWETZ, Abe On Saturday, February 27, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Hilda Spivack for sixty-four years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Philip and Carol Derzawetz, Beverley and Fred Kosseim, Rhonda and Andy Bongard. Cherished Zaidie of Kimberly, Brandon, and Jordan; Stef and Dan, Zack, and Mackenzie; Alex, Sam, and Sydney. Proud great-grandfather of Commander James. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Jean and the late Stanley Mayoff. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank Lani and her team of caregivers for their exceptional care and devotion. Special thanks to Gigi and Sheila for their compassion and for making his last days comfortable. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, February 29 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 211 rue de la Roche, D.D.O., Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
