POCH, Ruth (nee Holzman) On Sunday, August 16, 2009, two weeks after celebrating her ninety-first birthday. Beloved wife of the late Jack. Mother and mother-in-law of Harvey and Miriam, Howard and Anne-Marie, Norman and Maureen. Loved and respected grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of eight. Sister-in-law of David Abrams, Dr. Lewis N. and Jewel Poch. Predeceased by all of her siblings: Katy Lewis, Ann Klugerman, Sophie Goldstein, Bert Holt and Reva Abrams. The family wishes to express its sincerest appreciation to the staff on the 3rd floor at Mount Sinai Hospital for the wonderful care and compassion given to our mother. Graveside service on Tuesday, August 18 at 1:45 p.m., at the New Bassarabier Cemetery, 5015 rue de la Savane. Shiva private.
