JOSEPH, Nettie (nee Hitzig). Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the age of one-hundred & one. Beloved wife of the late Willie. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Max Akerman, Milton and Paula, Carole and the late Leon Silver. Beloved Bubbie of Beverly and Russell, Shelley, Aaron and Petra, Robert and Pam, Rhonda and Eyal, Sharon and Tim, Howard and Rae-Ann, Mark and Angela. Treasured Big Bubbie of seventeen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her seven siblings and their spouses. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to her caregiver Nadia and the staff of 5 South at Maimonides for their exceptional care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Friday, March 21 at 12 noon. Burial at the Bassarabier Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
