It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a dear husband, father and grandfather at 96 years of age in Montreal on July 27, 2019. He will be deeply cherished and missed by his family; his loving wife, Fabienne Goyer, his children Cynthia (Steve) and Geoffrey, his grandchildren Emily and Michèle (Joe), as well as many nephews and nieces. He lived a full and engaging life. His lengthy career included Director of special sections at La Presse, and as well he taught courses in behavioural science and business management at McGill University and Dawson College. During WWII he was a flight and ground engineer with the RAF Ferry Command. After the war he served as an officer in the Canadian Merchant Marine and circumvented the globe. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his compassion, generosity and intellectual curiosity. Graveside funeral to be held at the Baron de Hirsch Cemetery at 5015 de la Savane (Bassarabier New Section D1) on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at 10 am, to be followed by a reception at Centre funeraire Cote-des-Neiges (4525, chemin de la Cote-des-Neiges).
