Peacefully and with dignity on Friday, February 16, 2001, after a courageous battle. Loving and devoted husband of Esther. Beloved father of Leora, Richard and his wife Marla Goodwin. Cherished Sabah of Lauren, Stephanie, Rachelle Devorah, and Jennifer Rebecca. Special brother-in-law of Josh and Zeana Rauch. Devoted son-in-law of Basia Jakobwicz. Devoted son of the late Bernard and the late Esther Zipper, and the late Rachel Zipper. Predeceased by his mother, brother and sister who perished in the Holocaust. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, family, friends, and all those who knew him. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, February 19 at 1 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsh Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 7488 Briar Road, Cote St. Luc.
