ATLAS, Manuel Peacefully, on Friday, August 6, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Anne (Fraiberg) Atlas for over fifty years. Treasured father and father-in-law of Ken and Judy (Cohen), Marlene and Rob Salisbury. Adored and proud Zaidy of Michael and Richard Atlas; Sarah and Daniel Salisbury. Dearest brother and brother-in-law of Sandra and Jack Frost, Selma Kersen. Much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. Manny will be fondly remembered by his friends, family and business associates and by his special friend, Rachel Meyers, for his devotion, warmth and kindness. The family would like to thank Dr. Golda Tradounsky and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit at Mount Sinai Hospital for their excellent care and attention. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, August 9, at 1:00 p.m. Shiva at his home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
