FRIED, Joseph. On Tuesday, October 24, 2006. Treasured husband and best friend of Stella Goldberg. Son of the late Rev. Moses and the late Anna Fried. Beloved and devoted father and father-in-law of Cheryl and Barry Stulberg, and Louis Fried. Proud and loving grandfather of Andrew and Jennifer Stulberg. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Harry and Bea Fried, Jack and Bess Fried, Leah and David Schaffer, Celia and Abe Cohen, Evelyn Fried, Hyman Fried, and Gilda Schoenfield. Brother-in-law of Janet Fried. Always loved and remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in London, England, USA, and by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to doctors, nurses and staff of the 4th Floor North at Maimonides Geriatric Centre for their outstanding care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Thursday, October 26 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Ahavath Schulom Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home.
