LANSKY, Irving. On Friday, August 3, 2007, in his ninety-second year. Beloved husband and best friend of Pearl Michaels for sixty-two years. Most devoted father and father-in-law of Roslyn and David Can, David and Jane, Ricki and Howard Lapkovsky. Much adored Zaida of Lori and Paul, Jason and Danna; Peter, Ben and Brittany; Jared, Amanda and Alix. Loving great-grandfather of Landon and Logan. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Helen and Michael, Rose and the late Harry, Nat and the late Molly, the late Gertie and the late Justin, and brother-in-law of Pepper and the late Barney, Anne and the late Si, Lenore and the late Jack, Pearl and the late Charlie, Rose and the late Jack, Belle and the late Al, the late Charlie and the late Bessie, the late Ida and the late Hy. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Frisch and the staff of 7 West at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, August 5 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Congregation Cemetery, Poale Zedek Section, de la Savane.
