VINEGAR, Rachel (Ray)

This kind and gentle lady passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2012. Much beloved and dear wife of the late Red (Isadore). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Alissa and Barry Katsof, and the late Howard Vinegar. Cherished grandma of Alhena and Benny, Erika and Brian. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of the late Jeanne and the late Irving Greenfeig. Sister-in-law of Rosabel and the late Sam Turner, the late Moe and the late Esther Vinegar, the late Fanny Weinstein Freedman and the late Mitchell (Sonny) Weinstein, and the late Dan Freedman. Very special thanks to her compassionate caregivers Delnesia, Alicia, Sarah, and Colisa for their devotion, and to Aki for her friendship. Sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 6NW at the Jewish General Hospital and the staff of the Castel Royale. She will be lovingly remembered by Rosabel Turner, Pauline and Reuben Richman, her nieces, nephews, family and many close friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, June 3 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Cemetery, Poale Zedek Section, de la Savane.
