ALPER, Max Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at the age of ninety-six. Beloved husband of the late Frema Weinstein. Devoted father and father-in-law of Howard and Anne of Ottawa, Eric and Mary of Winnipeg, and Susan. Cherished grandfather of Ruth, Lara and Brahm, Daniel and Gabriel. Adored great-grandfather of Emma and Quinn Nathans. Special uncle of Renee. Brother of David, the late Edward, the late Issie, the late Charles, the late Myer and the late Nathan. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 4 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
