RUBINFELD, Leon
Peacefully, on Friday, March 20, 2015, in his eighty-fifth year. Beloved and devoted husband of Phillippa Rayner for sixty years. Loving and devoted father and father-in-law of Michael and Rhonda, Isadore and Judy, the late Adella Rubinfeld and Kenny Selcer. Cherished Zaida of Joanna and Jason Sidon, Lindsay Rubinfeld; Alissa and Michelle Rubinfeld; Lauren and Yaniv Afriat, and Jesse Selcer. Proud great-grandfather of Noam. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Pola and the late Harry Spatzner, Sally and the late Max Rubinfeld, the late Esther and the late Jacob Luft, and brother-in-law Jackie and Sam Stelman, Carmela and the late Leslie Rayner, the late Bertha and the late Sydney Engel, the late Bob Rayner, the late Dorothy and the late Hyman Wisenthal. Leon will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Leon's devoted caregivers, the staff of the Montefiore Residence, and the doctors, nurses and staff of 7NW at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, Poale Zedek Section, de la Savane.
