ENGEL, Myer
On Wednesday, November 18, 2015. Beloved husband of Shirley Schacter for sixty-nine years. Loving father and father-in-law of Ralph and Veeta Engel, and Franceen Engel. Adored Zaida of Rabbi Zvi and Laurie Engel, Aviva Engel, Atara and Avi Bessin; Samuel Chmielash and Pamela Goldsmith, and Steven Chmielash. Proud great-grandfather of Gavriel, Koby, Maayan, Aderet Engel; Yoni Mydlarski; Uriel, Elianna, Serena Bessin. Predeceased by his siblings and their spouses Sydney and Bertha Engel, Bella and Sidney Tansky, and Isaac Engel. Dear brother-in-law of Sydney Schacter. Myer will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W. on Thursday, November 19 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Congregation Section, Baron de Hirsch Cemetery, de la Savane.
