SURKES, Ben Suddenly, at home, on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Most beloved husband of Freda Lerner for sixty-six years. Devoted father of Steven and Nancy. Brother of Eve Segal (the late Hy), the late Solly Surkes (the late Rita). Brother-in-law of Mimi and Ben Eisenstat. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, May 17 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Yishitzer Young Men's Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at his home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily, through Thursday, May 19. Contributions in Ben's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. |
