LERNER, Ruth (nee Ostroff-Ostrow). Peacefully, on Friday, June 25, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Isidore. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Marilyn Jean and Bernard Kramer, and Aaron and Monique. Grandmother of David. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Evelyn and the late Dave Ostroff, Ida and the late Louis Ostroff, the late Annie and the late Ben Ozdoba, the late Joe and the late Fay Ostroff, the late Harry Ostroff, the late Jenny Ostroff, sister-in-law of Edith Ratner and the late Moe Lerner, the late Sam and the late Rose Lerner. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family wishes to thank her caregivers Gloria Cristobal and Jerlyne Ronzales, and staff of the Jewish General Hospital and Kastner Pavillion at the Jewish Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Monday, June 28 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Yishitzer Young Men's Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private.
