FILLER, Sophie (nee Simon)
On Tuesday, August 18, 2015, at the age of ninety-six. Predeceased by her parents, Annie and Harry Simon, and by her sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and George May. Devoted mother of Pearl and the late Avrum Orenstein, Joe Filler, and the late Samuel Filler. Cherished Bubby of Heather Orenstein Frankel and Mark Frankel, Aviva Orenstein Kalin and Michael Kalin, Jeff Orenstein and Michelle Fridman Orenstein, Zachary Filler and Celine Paquet, and Sacha Filler. Adored Great-Bubby of Jordan, Daniel and Abby Frankel; Hannah, Lev, Rachel, Tali, Avi and Eytan Kalin; Parker and Sloane Orenstein. Sophie will be remembered with love by her nieces, nephews and family. Special thanks to her caregiver Veronica and the staff at Maimonides. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, August 19 at 3:00 p.m. Burial at the Tifereth Beth David Jerusalem Congregation, Tifereth Jerusalem Section, de la Savane.
