DAVIS, Sylvia (nee White)
Suddenly, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Wife of the late Edward (Eddie). Devoted mother of Rebecca (Bert Knappen) and Arlene Davis. Proud grandma of Sandra (Troy), Todd (Kristen), Zara, Alexa (Brandon), Evara, and Priam. Adoring great-grandmother of Madyson, Devyn, Makayla and Jacob. Cherished sister of the late Manny White, and predeceased by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charlie and Dolly Davis, Murray and Betty and Marsha Davis, Manny and Ethel Davis, Annie and Harold Diamond, Ida and Sam Wiseman, Sarah and Abie Gordon. Sylvia will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, Seymour David, the Comm Family, friends at Place des Vosges, and by all who had the good fortune to know her. Special thanks to Drs. Michael Dworkind and Barry Kattleman. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 28 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Jewish War Veterans' Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at 6010 Cavendish Blvd. #114, C.S.L., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. Due to the festival of Passover, shiva commences Saturday evening, April 30.
