MATIN, Marlene (nee Shoenbaum) Peacefully, on Sunday, August 16, 2009. Wife of the late Louis. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Neil and Gail, Jackie and Arpi, and the late Julie Matin. Cherished Grandma of Samantha, Jamie, Katherine, Corey, Danielle, Shayne, Josh, Jade and Rachel. Dear sister of Rennie Ellen Kane and Diane Caplan. She will be sadly missed by her dearest friends Ruth and Audrey, her nieces, nephews, family and all of those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, August 18 at 3 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
