BORNSTEIN, Eleanor (Ellie) (nee Tishler) After a courageous battle on Friday, December 5, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Bertram Stanley (Bud), and the late Morty Schwartz. Devoted and loving mother of Carole, and the late Bruce. Proud "Shaina Bubbie" of Eric, and Rowen. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Dorothy and the late Jack Tishler, Lou and the late Shirley Kimmel. Honoured step-mother of Jeffrey and Nina Schwartz, Rob and Patty Schwartz; and step-grandmother of Mason, and Shayla Schwartz. Ellie will be deeply missed by Iain Cameron, and by her nieces, nephews, family and very dear friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4 NW at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Sunday, December 7 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Adath Israel Anshei Ozeroff Poale Zedek Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane.
