GERSHO, Jack. In his eighty-eighth year,on Tuesday, September 14, 2004. Jack is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of sixty-five years, Molly (Rothman). He is also survived by his children, his son Allen (Alfy) and daughter-in-law Roberta, and his daughter Miriam; his grandchildren: Miriam's daughter Marzena, and Allen and Roberta's sons Marvin (Leslie) and Brian (Morna); and his great-grandchildren Sam, Michael, Emma, and Max, each of whom filled his heart with nachas. He is also survived by his cousin Bluma Goldberg and her family, and by the family of his late cousin Rochel Ashkenazy. Jack was also the beloved brother-in-law of Micki Rothman, Sonia Oxman and Lily Borsuk and a dear uncle to their children. As a young man, Jack won awards in Track and Field and in Chess, but throughout his life, Jack won the hearts of family and friends, with his warmth, his generosity, his vibrant personality, and his love of life. He will be dearly missed. The family would like to extend its warm appreciation and thanks to the very capable and caring staff of The Waldorf Residence. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West, on Sunday, September 19 at 1 p.m Burial at the Anshei Ozeroff Cemetery, de la Savane.
