GERSON, Sylvia. In her ninety-sixth year on Saturday April 5, 2008. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Brenda and Jack Markowitz, Lorna and Philip (Fishel) Goldig. Cherished Bubbi of Larry and Howard Markowitz. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Ruth and the late Max Marder, Ron and Marjorie Friedman, Sid and Norma Friedman, the late Jack and the late Fran Wolf, the late Lucille Friedman, the late Harry and the late Pauline Gerson. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Tuesday, April 8 at 2 p.m. Burial at the Zichron Kedoshim Congregation Cemetery, Beth Israel and Samuel Section, De La Savane. Shiva at 6130 Avenue Notre Dame de Grace from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. daily.
