Peacefully, on Thursday, February 14, 2002. Beloved husband of fifty-one years of Norma (Novackoff), Devoted father of Bill and Steven. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Julius and the late Dorothy, Sam and Ida Novackoff, the late Max and the late Gertie, the late Issie and Esther, the late Rebecca and the late Joe Goldenberg, and the late George Novak. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Phil served his country honorably during the Second World War. Special thanks to the emergency room staff at the Jewish General Hospital for all their kindness. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon West on Friday, February 15 at 12:15 p.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Section, de la Savane. Shiva private.
