MOSCOVITZ, Fanny (nee Sigman). With great bravery, humour, and incredible compassion for her family, in her ninety-first year on Monday, August 25, 2003. Devoted wife, dedicated helpmeet, and life partner to Irving. Loving and much loved mother to Bernie (Clare) of Hilton Head, S.C. Devoted mother and best girlfriend of her daughter Sylvia, of Ottawa. Loving sister of Sarah, and the late Sophie. Loving daughter of the late Mary and the late Sam Sigman. She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Funeral Service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon Street West, on Wednesday, August 27 at 10:45 a.m. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva strictly private. We honour her courage and grace under pressure; we cherish every wonderful moment we had with her; we acknowledge a life spent in caring for others, and will remember her zest for life, her laughter, and her lively interest in people. |
