LECKER, Shirley (nee Kart). 1928-2008. On Thursday, May 8, 2008. Wife of the late Mortimer Lecker. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Rick Surh of Toronto, Stanley Lecker and Isabelle Pilon. Dear sister of Lily Barak, Ida Gruber, the late Alex Cart and sister-in-law of Estelle. Devoted aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Annie Reisler. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Montreal General Hospital for their care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W. on Sunday, May 11 at 12 noon. Burial at the Independent Hebrew Cemetery, de la Savane.
